Manufacturing Engineer

A well-established, growth-minded manufacturer of precision mechanical components is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who's ready to make an immediate impact on the shop floor. This is a hands‑on role for someone who'd rather fix the process than write a memo about it. What You’ll Do Drive process improvements across machining and assembly operations Partner with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve line‑down issues in real time Design, build, and implement tooling, fixtures, and work instructions Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives on the floor Support new product introduction from engineering handoff through full production What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent hands‑on experience) 2–3 years in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally in a high‑precision or tightly regulated environment Working knowledge of CNC processes, GD&T, and process capability studies Strong troubleshooting instincts and genuine comfort being on the plant floor, not just in a cubicle Lean or Six Sigma exposure is a plus Why It’s Worth a Conversation A stable, growing company that’s actively reinvesting in its people and its equipment High‑visibility projects with a direct line to leadership, no six layers of approval Real ownership from day one, not a rotational or shadow role #J-18808-Ljbffr BlueWorx Staffing
