The VDH is made up of a statewide Central Office in Richmond and 33 local health districts. Three Rivers Health District serves the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula region which includes the counties of: Richmond, Westmoreland, Northumberland, Lancaster, Essex, Middlesex, Mathews, Gloucester, King & Queen and King William. The position of Office Services Specialist will utilize established policies and procedures, to provide program and office support to a work unit within the 10 county catchment area, including general office and administrative support. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of office principles and practices Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software applications Ability to interpret and follow established procedures and guidelines Ability to communicate effectively Considerable skill in the operation of standard office equipment Additional Considerations High School Diploma Willingness to travel to other agency health departments to provide office coverage as needed throughout the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck.
