Position Overview: The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial activities of the organization. This position involves overseeing financial transactions, preparing budgets, and analyzing financial data. Job Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide management with accurate and timely financial information. Develop annual budgets in collaboration with the General Managers and the President. Collaborates with the General Managers and President on all financial related activities of the organization. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure new & used financed inventory payoffs are processed within expected timeframes. Payroll processing activities, including employee compensation, and benefits administration assistance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare required tax filings and reports. Work with external auditors during financial audits, providing requested documentation and supporting scheduled to facilitate the audit process. Assists with annual business insurance renewal, files insurance claims, and ensures overall business insurance needs are met. Complete monthly financial 20 Group reporting. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred. 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive or RV dealership industry.
