Job Title Entry-Level Auditor Position Summary We are seeking a motivated entry-level auditor to join our team. This position focuses on performing audit and assurance services for government agencies and not-for-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and performing financial statement audits in accordance with applicable auditing standards Perform audit procedures for governmental and not-for-profit entities, including testing of internal controls and substantive testing Prepare and document workpapers to support audit conclusions Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or unusual trends Communicate effectively with team members and client personnel Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance (as applicable) Maintain organized documentation and meet project deadlines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and auditing concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience (not required) Internship or prior experience in public accounting Exposure to governmental or not-for-profit accounting Work Environment & Growth Opportunities Collaborative team environment with direct mentorship Opportunities for professional development and CPA support Exposure to a variety of clients within the government and not-for-profit sectors #J-18808-Ljbffr
