Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted Patient Population: None Specified Certifications Required: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA Required General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include Open Heart, PV, Robotics, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics including total joints/trauma and Hand/Foot/Ankle, Plastics, Neuro, Oral Surgery, ENT, Gyn; Required Equipment includes Getinge Steam sterilizers, Sterrad plasma sterilizer, biological incubators, Washer/decontaminator, ultrasonic and washer air gun Ratio / Census: 17 Rooms with average surgical volume of 50 and daily tray volume of 450 Unit Systems: Epic (Preferred) and Alex Gold-Integra (Preferred) Scrub Color: Provided by facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: None Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
