Perform development efforts across multiple projects across the Finance reporting portfolio, collaborate with stakeholders to create value-add solutions, ensure adherence to reporting standards and governance requirements, and provide mentorship and guidance to other developers.Job Description ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise Finance reporting solutions using Power BI and related analytics technologies.Lead reporting initiatives supporting Finance Transformation programs, including ERP modernization, US GAAP reporting, and management reporting enhancements.Establish and enforce reporting governance, development standards, data quality controls, and documentation requirements.Guide and advance capabilities within and outside of the team, providing technical oversight and review of reporting solutions.Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize reporting deliverables.Design and optimize data models, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations, and reporting architectures to support complex financial and operational reporting needs.Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements through strong data governance and control practices.Contribute to the evolution of Finance analytics capabilities, including self-service reporting, automation, and emerging AI-enabled insights.Maintain documentation to ensure continuity of critical reporting processes and solutions.Contribute to strategic planning and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experienceTen years of experience and expertise in strategic planning for finance systems, managing stakeholders, and executing outcome driven projectsOutstanding strategic planning skills to execute finance system transformationsAdvanced skills managing expectations and cultivating relationships with key stakeholdersAbility to focus on and achieve desired outcomes in finance transformation projectsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced Power BI experience in building data models, DAX calculations and interactive reporting for financial analysisHands on experience sourcing, transforming, and connecting data from AWS services (e.g. Redshift) into BI solutionsFamiliarity with GAAP principles and management reporting to design accurate and compliant financial reportsSolid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling best practices for scalable reporting solutionsWorking ConditionsHybrid working environment: Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, Denver, PhiladelphiaThe Salary for this position generally ranges between $110,000.00- $135,000.00 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
