As a General Construction Laborer you will be on the tools every day, turning plans into finished facilities that owners occupy on schedule. Your work directly affects job-site safety, production speed, and the reputation we have earned since 1987. Performance Objectives Complete assigned site-prep, demolition, and material-handling tasks so each crew hits its daily production target without rework. Maintain a zero-incident personal safety record by following MYCON's site-specific safety plan and stopping work when hazards appear. Stage materials, tools, and equipment so trades start each shift within 15 minutes of arrival. Support carpenters, concrete, and steel crews by forming, pouring, stripping, and cleaning so quality checkpoints pass first time. Keep work areas broom-clean and organized, reducing trip hazards and accelerating punch-list close-out. Report progress, shortages, and issues to the superintendent before they delay the critical path. Environment & Resources You will report to the Project Superintendent and work alongside a 201-500 person team of craft professionals on Dallas-area industrial and commercial jobs. MYCON supplies PPE, power tools, and a safety budget that has produced multiple award-winning projects. Expect early starts, weather exposure, and the chance to move between ground-up warehouses, manufacturing plants, and renovations. Essential Qualifications Proven ability to perform physically demanding labor (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing) for a full shift on active construction sites. Track record of following written and verbal instructions to finish tasks on time and to spec. OSHA 10 or equivalent safety awareness and willingness to stop unsafe work. Reliable transportation and readiness to start at 6–7 a.m. on varying Dallas-area sites. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in commercial/industrial construction.
