Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Water Operator Level B to take charge of operations and ensure safe, high-quality water treatment. If you’re hands-on, dependable, and capable of running a shift independently, this is your opportunity to excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor water treatment systems independently
  • Perform equipment maintenance and rebuilding
  • Assist with compliance documentation and recordkeeping
  • Conduct process control lab testing
  • Maintain wells and treatment infrastructure
  • Follow and enforce all safety standards, including PPE, lockout-tagout, and process safety procedures

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active Water Operator License (Required)
  • 1–2 endorsements (Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed, Filtration preferred)
  • 1–3 years of water system operating experience
  • Ability to recertify every 2 years (Delaware requirement with 20 hours of approved training)
