Housekeeper

Overview Sunrise is one of the largest private not‑for‑profit organizations dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking for a housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and safety of homes and facilities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Perform housekeeping and grounds maintenance per regulatory guidelines. Keep inventory of housekeeping items, restock as needed while minimizing waste and staying within cost‑effective guidelines. Report areas or items needing additional attention or repair to directors. Perform any other duties assigned. Qualifications Successful completion of required pre‑employment background and drug screenings. Valid driver’s license with all necessary endorsements and a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. High school diploma or equivalent (if required by work location). Experience as a housekeeper in a health care setting preferred. Additional Requirements This is a drug‑free workplace; all candidates must submit to a pre‑employment drug screening after receiving a conditional offer of employment. A positive confirmed screening or refusal to submit will result in withdrawal of the conditional job offer. Direct support roles within our organization are mandated reporters; they must report any instances of abuse, neglect, or exploitation that they witness or are involved in.
