CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Minden, NV
Pay: $20.50–$26.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Minden, NV. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, responding to customer questions, handling account and billing activities, and coordinating with multiple internal departments to ensure customer needs are addressed accurately and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process customer orders by phone, email, online, mail, and fax
• Accurately enter orders into the ERP system, schedule orders, and coordinate releases to Shipping
• Answer customer questions regarding accounts, pricing, sizing, order status, and changes
• Set up new customer accounts and assist with credit references and account follow-up
• Handle invoicing, credits, credit adjustments, rebilling, and Return Authorizations
• Work closely with Materials, Production, Inventory Control, Tech Support, and Shipping to resolve customer needs
• Communicate order changes and updates to customers in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end reporting and other administrative tasks
• Provide backup coverage for the switchboard and front desk as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Experience working in an ERP system
• Solid Excel skills, including the ability to create spreadsheets using formulas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under deadlines, and follow through on customer requests
• Customer-focused and team-oriented approach
