Description Home Health – Per Diem Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Boynton Beach FL) Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments in the home. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory treatment plans. Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, airway clearance therapy, and ventilator management. Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory disease management, medications, equipment use, infection prevention, and home safety. Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. Participate in care conferences to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation. Assist with the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of home respiratory equipment, including oxygen concentrators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, suction machines, and ventilators. Support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with CMS, ACHC, HIPAA, and Florida Home Health regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Current Florida Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT). Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred). Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. Minimum of two (2) years of recent respiratory care experience. One (1) year of Home Health experience. Experience managing home oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilators.
