Role Description The Assistant Manager of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Reynoldsburg, OH, focused on driving efficient and customer-centric store operations. This role oversees daily operational activities, including inventory management, shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and back-of-house organization to support a seamless shopping experience. The Assistant Manager of Operations partners with store leadership to execute company policies, maintain visual and operational standards, and ensure compliance with safety and loss-prevention procedures. This role also guides and supports store associates, helping to schedule, train, and coach team members to meet performance goals and deliver engaging, friendly service. The position requires hands-on involvement on the sales floor and in the stockroom, actively monitoring operational metrics and contributing to continuous improvement. Qualifications Operational excellence skills, including inventory management, shipment processing, stockroom organization, and store opening/closing procedures. Leadership and people management capabilities, such as coaching, team scheduling, performance feedback, and supporting a positive, inclusive work environment. Customer service and retail sales skills, including engaging with shoppers, resolving concerns, and promoting brand loyalty and store programs. Analytical and organizational abilities, including attention to detail, time management, and using store data or KPIs to guide decisions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and clearly convey expectations to team members. Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active retail environment, including standing for extended periods and handling merchandise. Previous supervisory or key-holder experience in retail or a similar customer-focused setting is preferred.
