Dermatology Medical Assistant NOW!
DPS is now hiring a Dermatology Medical Assistant for a Dermatology Clinic in the Houston Willowbrook area with occasional travel to Bellaire and Sugarland. . Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.
Dermatology Medical Assistant
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Houston Willowbrook with occasional travel to Bellaire and Sugarland
Temporary to hire
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00/ hour + (based on experience)
Dermatology Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs- Assist provider with dermatology procedures and patient care
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
- Document patient information in the EMR system
- Provide back-office clinical support and maintain patient flow
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification required
Job Requirements:
- 1+ year of dermatology experience required (not cosmetic or aesthetic).
- MOHS experience preferred
- EMA EMR experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of back-office clinical procedures
