Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care / Telemetry)
Pocatello, Idaho, United States
Start date: August 24, 2026
Contract: Travel - temporary assignment for several weeks
Weekly pay: 1,838–1,956 USD per week
Guaranteed hours: none
Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour shifts
Setting: 24-bed unit with Progressive Care / Stepdown / Telemetry care

- Onboarding/orientation: 24 hours
- Weekend coverage: six shifts per contract
- Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a PCU/stepdown/telemetry unit
- Monitor patient telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to cardiac events
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive IV infusions (no titration required) and non-invasive airway support
- Care for central and peripheral lines; administer blood products as ordered
- Collaborate with IV team, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and other disciplines; participate in Rapid Response and Code Team activities
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE, document in Epic, and participate in patient education and discharge planning

Requirements
- Current RN license in Idaho or a compact state in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; telemetry/PCU/stepdown and cardiology exposure preferred
- Ability to work nights in a 24-bed unit; block scheduling flexibility
- First-time travel RNs accepted; float to related units possible
- Willingness to perform unit duties in a fast-paced telemetry/PCU environment
