Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Georgetown, Kentucky location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient care. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with Monday–Friday hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing
- Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year or more phlebotomy experience or accredited certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service
