Core Responsibilities:

- Create 3D models of the assembly and all components in NX and or SolidWorks.
- Create operation sheets / work instructions from 3D model in NX and or SolidWorks.
- Oversee NX standards and configuration.
- Create routing / BOM / item cards in ERP system.
- Create milestones / project plans and make sure engineering tasks stay on track.
- Follow parts through shop to make sure there are no issues.
- Interact with shop personnel when developing processes.
- Support tool design as needed.
- Provide support to customers / vendors on any engineering related items.
- Participate in root cause analysis and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years in the aerospace industry or general manufacturing.
- Proficient in the use of NX CAD solid modeling software, working knowledge of Solidworks is desirable.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- A strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- Experience with Titanium, Stainless Steel and Inconel materials is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry inspection methods such as FPI, MPI, and X-ray.
- General knowledge of welding methods is desirable.
- Prior experience as a machinist is a plus.
- Comfortable with a manufacturing environment interacting with machinist on the shop floor.
- Excellent communication skills are needed; both verbal and written.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline required.
