Power Equipment Sales SpecialistRural King is seeking a Power Equipment Sales Specialist to provide expert product knowledge and customer service while driving sales across our power equipment departments. This role supports customers throughout the equipment lifecycle, including sales, financing, delivery, service, and warranty.Products include tractors, attachments and implements, zero-turn and riding lawn mowers, UTVs, utility trailers, and related parts and accessories.Related Job TitlesPower Equipment Sales Specialist • Outdoor Power Equipment Sales Specialist • Tractor Sales Specialist • Equipment Sales Specialist • Agricultural Equipment Sales SpecialistResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoSales & Customer ExperienceHelp customers select equipment based on their needs, application, and budget.Provide product recommendations, demonstrations, and financing support.Manage special orders and maintain accurate customer and sales information in Salesforce.Build customer relationships and support sales goals through knowledgeable, solution-focused service.Equipment, Inventory & ServiceMaintain accurate equipment inventory and customer lifecycle records in store systems and Salesforce, including sales, service, delivery, and warranty information.Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on applicable equipment.Assist with receiving, moving, displaying, and delivering equipment.Maintain equipment displays, signage, and outdoor merchandising to company standards.Coordinate service and repairs with mechanics, parts associates, and mobile technicians.Process service documentation, including cases, parts requests, work orders, and warranty claims.Support customers throughout the delivery, service, and warranty process.Promote safe equipment operation and proper maintenance.Store & Team SupportTrain associates on power equipment products and customer needs.Maintain clean and organized equipment and shop areas.Use computers, tablets, Salesforce, POS systems, and handheld devices.Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForRetail sales, power equipment, agricultural equipment, lawn and garden, tractor, UTV, or related experience preferred.Strong knowledge of power equipment and its applications.Ability to meet sales goals, build customer relationships, and recommend products based on customer needs.Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and active listening skills.Ability to explain technical product information clearly.Experience with CRM, Salesforce, POS, or retail technology preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.QualificationsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.Ability to use ladders, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates.Close vision required for computer-related activities.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Why Join Rural King?At Rural King, we provide hands-on training, product knowledge, and opportunities to build a rewarding retail career.When you join our team, you'll enjoy:Competitive payMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) with company matchAssociate discountsTraining and professional developmentCareer opportunities with a company that promotes from withinA collaborative, team-focused work environmentCompensationExact compensation determined by factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
