The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.The Fulfillment Package Handler will distribute materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the fulfillment center.Hours and WagesMonday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM5 hours of OT may be expected each weekPaid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experienceDuties and ResponsibilitiesLoad, unload and move palletized freight by hand and with manual and power pallet jacksUn-palletize and sort freight according to product type and/or destinationScan barcode labels of packages for tracking and billing purposesStack freight onto pallets in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficientlySecure palletized freight prior to shipment using shrink wrap machinesAssist in the process of picking product according to customer requestsFollow all safety protocols and regulations; report any unsafe acts to managementPerform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environmentPerform other required duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal communication skillsEfficient time management skillsExcellent organization skills and attention to detailAbility to read labels at a fast pace and work independentlyEducation and ExperienceAt least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred1+ year of experience in distribution or transportation industry preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionallyAbility to spend a minimum of 8 hours on your feetAbility to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouseAbility to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animalsBenefitsHealth Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and more.EEO and Affirmative Action StatementSpee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
