Job Location: Benicia, California

Job Type:  Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $21-$22/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-2:30pm

Description of Position: Do you have experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk? Our client is seeking a dependable and physically capable Shipping and Receiving Associate to support the shipping department at our client's facility in Benicia. This role focuses on palletization, material handling, and shipment preparation in a dynamic environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands on shipping experience who is looking to grow into a long-term role. Strong performance and willingness to learn internal systems may lead to permanent placement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and palletize shipments accurately and efficiently
• Prepare products for outgoing shipments
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming materials
• Lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) consistently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Support shipping operations and meet daily productivity goals

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving required
• Experience with palletization (not just boxing/packing) strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Steel toed boots required
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work in a dynamic, team oriented environment

Preferred Skills (for Permanent Opportunity)

• Experience with logistics systems or shipment scheduling
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn internal systems
• Interest in long-term growth within shipping and logistics
