Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Forklift Operator/ Cherry PickerVolt is hiring for a 2nd Shift Order Picker (Cherry Picker Operator) for a leading furniture distribution and warehouse operation in Fremont, CA.As an Order Picker you will:Operate cherry picker forklifts and order pickers throughout the warehousePick and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficientlyPull product for outbound shipments to retail stores and distribution centersMove inbound freight from receiving bins to assigned rack locations based on product type and dimensionsRelocate product from end caps and service areas into racking systemsScan merchandise using RF handheld scanners prior to relocating productEnsure inbound product and transfers are stored in designated rack areasTransport completed orders to the dock using material handling equipmentPosition oversized and heavy furniture safely onto racking systemsInspect forklift and equipment before and during operationMaintain a clean, organized warehouse floor free from debrisConduct operations in compliance with OSHA and company safety standardsEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of all orders shippedMeet or exceed company productivity standardsThe ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GED1–2 years of cherry picker / order picker forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environmentExperience handling large, heavy furniture (highly preferred)Comfort working at height on a large cherry picker platformStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyExperience using RF scanning equipmentExperience working in furniture or large-item distribution warehouses is a huge plus.Schedule: 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM, (Thursday- Monday) five days per week; days off Tuesday & Wednesday.This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.Pay Rate: $21/hr.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
