St. Joseph’s South Hospital is seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in an acute care setting. We are a full‑service hospital offering outpatient services, intensive care, a 24‑bed maternity unit, imaging, lab, surgical services, and more, in a relaxing, family‑centered environment. Acute Physical Therapist Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver evidence‑based interventions to improve strength, balance, and functional mobility. Educate patients and caregivers on safe movement techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge planning. Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient‑centered care plans.
