Rec Hall is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable Host to be the first face our guests see when they walk through the door.

This position is primarily stationed at the front counter , where you’ll welcome guests, collect admission/cover charges, answer questions, and help keep the entrance running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest with a friendly attitude
• Collect and accurately handle cover/admission payments
• Check guests in and provide wristbands or other admission identification as needed
• Answer questions about Rec Hall, events, activities, and pricing
• Explain current specials, events, and entertainment
• Monitor the entrance and help maintain an organized flow of guests
• Assist with reservations and reserved seating
• Communicate with bartenders, managers, and event staff regarding guest needs
• Help keep the front counter and entrance area clean and organized
• Follow Rec Hall's age, admission, and guest policies
• Handle cash and/or POS transactions accurately
• Help create a welcoming, fun, and professional atmosphere

• Attentive to details and guest needs
• A team player who communicates well with the rest of the staff
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and busy event nights
• Previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required
