As an automation engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change.You’ll work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain, and improve our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications. The world can’t wait.You Have: 3+ years of experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including Bash, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell2+ years of experience with automation tools including AnsibleExperience with CI/CD toolsets including GitLab or JenkinsExperience writing Infrastructure as Code, including TerraformExperience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestrationExperience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure as well as applications in on-premise and Cloud environments including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AzureSecret clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have: Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environmentsExperience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configurationKnowledge of automation and process improvement through holistic programming solutionsAbility to analyze business requirements for the design of automated process workflowsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.  CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
