Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care travel assignment in High Point, North Carolina, United States. Start date 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress with timely notes and updates. Conduct bedside and chart-based assessments; screen for dysphagia and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families; participate in care conferences and discharge planning as needed. Educate residents and families on therapy goals, strategies, and home exercise programs; promote continuity of care across settings. Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in documentation. Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Availability for a travel assignment and adherence to assignment duration and schedule.
