Avionics Aircraft TechnicianGMRE is currently recruiting for an Avionics Aircraft Technician. This position is day shift and may be eligible for per-diem based on GSA.gov standards. Position is contingent based on contract award. The Avionics Aircraft Technician will perform maintenance and must possess knowledge of the electronic principles involved in a number of applications such as radar, data processing, navigation and data display.Interprets and advises on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related equipment. For insurance purposes, a valid driver's license is required.Physical RequirementsNormal color vision as defined by GMRE, with a passing score of 75% or greater.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Travel RequiredOccasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
