As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a reliable, caring approach, work closely with your team, and reflect integrity while helping support daily operations with an agile and innovative mindset.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post logs, and sharing relevant information regarding incidents, patrol findings, and/or site conditions with Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
