Senior Machine Learning Engineer

To develop and deploy machine learning models for camera-based perception in autonomous trucks, the remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer will own end-to-end model development, analyze performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and reliable driving solutions. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy deep learning models for camera-based perception, including object detection and scene understanding Own the end-to-end model development process from data curation to evaluation and deployment Collaborate with perception and validation teams to integrate models into the autonomy stack and improve dataset quality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of experience Experience developing and deploying deep learning models for computer vision or perception systems Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch, with experience in writing production-quality ML code Solid understanding of modern deep learning architectures used in perception, such as CNNs and transformers Experience collaborating cross-functionally to integrate ML models into larger autonomy or robotics systems Virtual Vocations Inc
