As a Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical vision and specific solutions needed to solve business and customer problems. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. You will support horizontal teams focused on enhancing our digital claims experience, guiding customers seamlessly from the initial notification of injury through to the offer stage.In this dynamic role, you'll be key to driving GEICO's digital transformation by being part of a growing Product Organization working collaboratively with teams to implement cutting edge technologies, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure seamless integration of digital solutions across the organization.This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week at one of the following locations: Palo Alto, CA; Seattle, WA; Bethesda, MD.About This RoleIf selected, you will be responsible for working with Engineering and Business on requirements, describing and managing the solution of a specific product or initiative, while also coordinating/communicating between different workstreams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to do the work, while also influencing organizational change through proper scoping, process improvement, and positive team dynamics.The ideal candidate is excellent at:Leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery.Synthesizing business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities, size them, and turn insights into requirements.Owning and prioritizing the long-term (6-12 months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure that and your team will be successful.Leveraging modern architecture & great design to identify problem-solution fit.Evaluating trade-offs and negotiating requirements.Creating and using compelling, informative artifacts to influence stakeholders (ex. Vision, Roadmaps, Features/Epics, Wireframes, Progress Updates, etc.).Understanding of current and future state architecture.Evaluating and decomposing user needs into technical features and stories.Hands-on experience with building, implementing, and monitoring API’s.Identifying and measuring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates.Having an end-to-end understanding of features and how they fit into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s DegreeAt least 5 years of experience in Product ManagementAt least 5 years of experience translating features into consumer or associate facing productsAt least 5 years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to deliveryAt least 5 years leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product deliveryAt least 3 years of experience building and shipping technical productsPreferred Qualifications:Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussionsExperience managing day-to-day technical and design directionKnowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or MarketingAbility to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authorityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInsurance Injury experience preferredHigh sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering or computer scienceAgile certifications preferred (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)Experience leveraging AI-enabled tooling to accelerate product deliveryAnnual Salary$100,450.00 - $157,850.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
