Description: The position requires working in a freestanding emergency room. The unit has 12 beds and provides emergency department x-ray and CT examinations. The typical patient ratio is 1 Radiology/CT tech per 12-hour shift. Equipment includes GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus x-ray. The documentation system used is Meditech. Work schedule includes Friday to Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. There are also 2 call shifts required per month and holiday availability is necessary. This position offers the potential to rotate to other shifts based on staffing needs. Gray scrubs are required as the uniform.
