Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department treating a broad patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with common ER diagnoses including chest pain, strokes, STEMIs, respiratory conditions, abdominal pain, and trauma
• Administer and monitor common IV drips including Levophed, Diltiazem, Narcotics, and Propofol
• Read and interpret cardiac monitor strips using SpaceLab monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, mid-levels, CNAs, unit clerks, and respiratory therapists to deliver coordinated patient care
• Participate in holiday rotation and modified self-scheduling across a 6-week scheduling cycle

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a small, close-knit department environment
• Comfort working in a high-acuity setting that treats and transfers STEMIs, strokes, and trauma patients
• Willingness to ask questions and adapt quickly; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
