Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician in Portland, Oregon. This role involves working within the sterile processing department, supporting the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, with a focus on maintaining high standards of sterilization and compliance.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPAS; one year of experience in sterile processing or related field; ability to work in a hospital or healthcare environment; Oregon license required or pending; experience with EPIC charting system preferred; valid drivers license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Robotics and Da Vinci surgical systems; trauma level experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates may be expected to float between hospital units or nearby affiliate hospitals. References covering one year (or six months for CNA staff) within the last three years are required. Must include response to prior employment at healthcare facilities if applicable. Specific charting experience with EPIC is required. Candidates should be prepared to work rotating shifts and to commit to working three of the five major holidays during the contract period.
