Overview CT Technologist – Radiology, CT specialty, Valdez, Alaska, United States. Start date: 09/28/2026. Travel assignment for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,434–$2,530 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,434–$2,530 per week Start date: 09/28/2026 Shift: 4x10-hour days Contract type: Travel - Temporary Assignment Setting: Hospital imaging (outpatient, ED, inpatient) On-call: Overnight call every 2–3 nights Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be offset by one 10-hour shift per 2-week period) Housing: Provided (1-bedroom apartment) Vehicle: Company-provided shared-use vehicle Holidays: Must cover 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year’s Day) Responsibilities Perform CT and general radiography exams across patient types, including neonates through geriatrics Conduct routine CT scans and CT angiography, with PACS image acquisition and basic post-processing Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate; assist with contrast-related procedures Assist with procedures as needed (e.g., biopsies/aspirations) and participate in basic emergency/trauma imaging Use PACS for image storage and communication; ensure accurate charting in the Epic system Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and infection control during imaging and contrast administration Manage venous access skills as applicable and contribute to cross-training by floating to cover adjacent x-ray needs when required Requirements Licenses/Certifications: ARRT (R) and ARRT CT listed; compact license must be in hand at submission Experience: 2 years of CT/Radiography experience required; first-time graduates not accepted Certifications: BLS preferred Skills: CT/CTA including angiography, general radiography, contrast administration, PACS usage, basic emergency/trauma imaging; ability to start peripheral IVs as applicable Charting: Epic experience required Availability: Must be able to work in outpatient, emergency, and inpatient imaging settings; willingness to float to nearby facilities as needed Other: Non-local assignment—permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the assignment site; on-call schedule and holiday coverage as noted; references: 2 references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years; background check requirements per posting Benefits and Support Housing provided (typically 1-bedroom apartment) Company-provided shared-use vehicle (driver’s license and insurance required) Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC; dedicated recruiter and travel support Travel-ready onboarding and 24/7 support during the assignment Medical imaging equipment familiarity and use in a hospital setting Clear compliance guidance on licensure, background, and charting requirements On-site coordination for start and end logistics, including availability windows PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
