This rewarding position offers a full-time schedule for the 2026-2027 school year, with responsibilities leaning toward a coordinator role—ideal for those who thrive on supporting colleagues as well as students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching credential with ESE endorsement
Experience or strong aptitude working with 4th and 5th grade students
Demonstrated skills in managing IEP processes and fostering inclusive classroom environments
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Must be able to work onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate, develop, and oversee Individualized Education Programs for students
Serve as a resource and mentor for classroom teachers regarding best practices in special education
Foster a supportive, achievement-oriented atmosphere for students requiring accommodations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
Engage with families, staff, and support teams to advocate for students
Provide direct instruction as needed and actively contribute to a collaborative school culture
