Application Deadline: Until FilledAvailability: Open Availability Job Summary:The Retail Supervisor supports the General Manager (GM) in executing the day-to-day retail operations. The Retail Supervisor assumes responsibility in the absence and at the directive of the GM, serving as a resource for employees, customers, and patients to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Supports the GM in executing all recreational and medical cannabis sales operations and managing personnel within their retail location(s)Supports the GM in managing daily store opening and closing procedures as necessarySupports the GM in driving the sales goals and objectives throughout daily operationsProvides escalated guidance to customers as needed including resolving customer complaintsSupports management as needed with workforce and performance management including employee onboarding, training, guidance, mentoring, and managing team schedules, timesheet entries, and time-off requestsSupports with ensuring that processes and procedures are compliant to internal policies and standards as well as local and state regulationsPerforms daily cash verifications and recordingsSupports the GM with intake of deliveries, transfers, and inventory managementGreets and checks in customers and patientsEngages with patients and customers to understand their wellness needs and recommends productsEducates customers and patients on the uses of cannabis products to meet their desired effectsMaintains the cleanliness and organization of the store including organizing products and inventory, sweeping, mopping, and dustingPerforms sales transactions including cash handling, using POS system, and compliantly packaging and labeling productsEnters or modifies customer/patient information in POS SystemSupports the GM with managing team schedules to ensure proper coverageSupports the GM with ordering supplies Required Qualifications:6 months of customer service and/or sales experience6 months experience utilizing METRCExperience with retail POS systemsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMust hold or obtain a valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee BadgeStrong verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications:2 years of customer service and/or sales experienceExperience with Cannabis POS systemCannabis knowledge or cannabis industry experienceProficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Sheets, Word, and ExcelKnowledge of local and state laws related to cannabis sales including Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) regulations Physical Requirements:Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbsAbility to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or itemsOther Requirements:In-person at store location based on schedule Additional Compensations:Tips and Bonus eligibilityAccrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2.5 weeks per year Health, dental, vision, life, LTD, accident, and critical illness insurance plans Retirement plans available after 6 months of employmentZayZoon: Earned Wage Access!
