VacaValley Critical Care Resource RN (Per Diem, Night)

The RN, utilizing Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care. The RN makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. The VacaValley Critical Care Resource Registered Nurse is a critical care nurse that has specialized knowledge in critical care, rounding, rapid response, and critical care transport. horizontal leadership and is accountable for the management of care and the care environment. The VacaValley Critical Care Resource RN will collaborate with the Administrative Coordinator (AC), Clinical Nurse Supervisor (CNS) in the Emergency Department (ED) and Acute Care Unit (ACU) to provide critical care support throughout the institution. This role will be responsible for ensuring the care of the critical patient regardless of location within the institution. Compensation Structure NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan.
