This unique opportunity combines leadership of a high-performing ACO helping to develop and expand a new ACO platform supporting physician groups, post-acute care organizations, and healthcare partners.\n

\nWorking closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders, you will serve as a physician strategist and ambassador focused on growth, network development, and accountable care success. This position is primarily strategic and administrative in nature and offers a chance to influence the future of value-based healthcare on a national scale.\n

Key Responsibilities \n
\nStrategic Leadership\n

\n
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute ACO growth strategies
\n
• Support the expansion and market development of post-acute care ACO initiatives
\n
• Provide physician perspective on accountable care, population health, and value-based reimbursement models
\n
• Evaluate healthcare trends, market opportunities, regulatory changes, and partnerships
\n
• Support organizational planning and long-term growth objectives
\n

Business Development & Network Growth\n

\n
• Partner with business development leadership to identify and cultivate new ACO participants and strategic relationships
\n
• Participate in executive presentations and stakeholder meetings
\n
• Serve as the physician representative for prospective physician groups, healthcare organizations, and post-acute operators
\n
• Assist with participant onboarding, due diligence, and network expansion efforts
\n
• Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and value-based care forums
\n

Executive Relationship Management\n

\n
• Develop trusted relationships with physician leaders, healthcare executives, and strategic partners
\n
• Serve as a physician ambassador for ACO programs and value-based care initiatives
\n
• Support initiatives that strengthen participation and alignment
\n
• Facilitate collaboration among physician groups, healthcare organizations, and post-acute care clinicians
\n

Value-Based Care Strategy\n

\n
• Provide subject matter expertise in MSSP, accountable care, population health, and risk-based reimbursement models
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve outcomes and performance
\n
• Interpret healthcare performance data and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Support initiatives focused on improving care coordination, reducing unnecessary utilization, and enhancing beneficiary outcomes
\n

Qualifications \n
\nRequired\n

\n
• MD or DO degree
\n
• Active, unrestricted medical license
\n
• Board certification in IM, FM, or related specialty
\n
• Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience
\n
• Minimum of 5 years of physician leadership experience
\n
• Experience in value-based care, ACOs, population health, post-acute care, or risk-based reimbursement models
\n
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills
\n
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
\n

Preferred\n

\n
• Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) experience
\n
• Post-acute care leadership experience
\n
• Population health management expertise
\n
• Experience supporting healthcare growth or network development
\n
• MBA, MHA, MPH, or similar advanced degree
