Location: New Orleans, LA, Building 66-102 | 100% On-site Duration: 12 Months Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Full Time Pay Rate: $62/hr W2 Job Summary seeking 2x Industrial Engineer 3 contractors to support the SLS program in New Orleans, LA. This role applies advanced Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering and service operations. You will independently develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analysis and metrics for consultation to management, departments, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced industrial engineering techniques and concepts to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle Independently develop models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data using statistics, operations research, engineering economics Research, design, develop, improve, and implement processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through Lean and other IE concepts for large scale systems integration Independently manage, define, negotiate, and control scope, cost, and timing of projects using work break-down structure, precedence network, resource allocation Utilize advanced engineering methods like mathematical models, simulation, statistics to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources Analyze and design value stream including capability, capacity, throughput, work flow and logistics - make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, critical path, lead‑time, factory layout Ensure projects are completed within budget and perform risk analysis Required Qualifications ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry AND typically 5+ years related work experience OR PhD + 0 years | OR Master + 3 years related work experience MESci, Aurora and Constraints based scheduling experience Ability to pass NASA screening and badging post start Advanced proficiency in statistics, operations research, engineering economics Preferred Qualifications Experience with large scale systems integration and asset utilization Strong project management skills - WBS, precedence networks, resource allocation Lean manufacturing and value stream analysis experience Simulation and mathematical modeling experience #J-18808-Ljbffr ACL Digital
