The Chemist Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Support Technician to join our compounding pharmacy team. This is a cross-functional role designed for someone who is adaptable, organized, and interested in learning multiple areas of pharmacy operations.

Rather than being assigned permanently to one workstation, this team member will be trained across several operational functions and deployed where support is most needed. Training may include customer service, prescription order entry, fulfillment, shipping, inventory, refill support, and other pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to patients, clinics, and providers
• Support prescription order entry and pharmacy workflow as trained
• Assist with fulfillment, packaging, shipping, and patient pickup workflows
• Support refill and patient outreach initiatives
• Assist with inventory receiving, organization, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow pharmacy SOPs
• Cross-train across pharmacy operations and develop competency in multiple workstations
• Shift between responsibilities based on daily pharmacy workload and priorities
• Identify workflow issues and escalate questions or concerns appropriately
• Maintain an organized, efficient, patient-focused work environment

What We're Looking For

• Pharmacy technician registration/certification as required for the position
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented and willing to support areas outside a primary assignment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Experience in compounding pharmacy, prescription order entry, fulfillment, or pharmacy operations is helpful but not required if the candidate is willing and able to learn

Team members who demonstrate competency, reliability, accuracy, and initiative will have opportunities to expand into prescription order entry, fulfillment, inventory management, refill operations, and other areas of pharmacy workflow.
