• Help maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
• Assist with patient breaks and coverage to support staffing needs.
• Perform clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Answer patient questions and address concerns with compassion and professionalism.
• Accurately maintain required records and documentation related to patient interactions and specimen collection.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, establishing trust and confidence with patients.
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional environment at all times.

Required Skills

• Ability to handle patients with care and compassion, especially during check-in and specimen collection.
• Strong customer service skills, especially in client-facing roles.
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks.
• Basic phlebotomy skills and experience, including specimen collection and processing.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (e.g., retail, home health aide).
• Some phlebotomy experience required, including internships or externships preferred.
• Willingness to work in both lobby and draw room settings, assisting with specimen collection and patient support.
• Flexibility to fill in for breaks and support staffing shortages as needed.
