In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all food safety and quality management systems meet or exceed regulatory, customer, and company standards. You will oversee the implementation, auditing, assessment, and training of quality systems at our Customer Service Center (CSC), ensuring we deliver only the finest, safest products to our airline customers. Paid Time Off - Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay Exclusive Perks - Membership to American Airlines Credit Union What You'll Lead & Deliver Food Safety Leadership Own and enforce HACCP and FSMA Preventive Controls programs Serve as the site Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Ensure full compliance with: FDA & USDA regulations FSMA cGMPs Customer food safety requirements Lead investigations into: Food safety deviations Environmental findings Alleged foodborne illness complaints Audit Readiness & Regulatory Confidence Prepare and lead unannounced audits and inspections Act as the primary site lead for: FDA / USDA inspections Customer audits Third‑party audits (SQF, BRC, IFS experience strongly preferred) Drive corrective actions through completion and verification, not just documentation Quality Systems & Verification Oversee environmental monitoring and microbiological testing programs Review and trend: Swab results Finished product testing Sanitation verification data Conduct routine and spot checks on the production floor Ensure customer and internal quality standards are consistently met Who We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field PCQI certification HACCP certification 5+ years of hands‑on food safety experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Experience leading audits and inspections Strong working knowledge of: FDA & USDA regulations FSMA Preventive Controls HACCP systems cGMPs Comfortable working on the production floor, not just in an office LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and affirmative action employer of women/minorities/veterans/individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
