Speech Language Pathologist

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the vibrant Carmel, IN area! This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time (2.5 days per week) schedules, providing a chance to support K-12th grade learners in their speech and communication goals. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow professionals to deliver high-quality speech and language services, contribute to individualized education plans, and help students gain confidence in their abilities. Qualifications and Experience: Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Indiana (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY considered) Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with K-12th grade students, is highly valued Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Key Responsibilities: Provide direct therapy and assessment services to students with speech/language needs Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend relevant meetings Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports according to school guidelines Engage parents, teachers, and other support staff to foster student progress Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse learning and communication needs Imagine the rewards of watching students achieve their speech and language milestones with your expertise and encouragement.
