Respiratory Therapist
This role requires proficiency in caring for patients in the NICU, PICU, and high-risk deliveries. The therapist will be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team. The position involves working across various units as needed. Competence in using specialized equipment such as the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A is essential. The ideal candidate will work with neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics. The role includes working with a diverse array of patient diagnoses. The therapist should be prepared to manage respiratory care in urgent situations. Tasks may include aerosol set up, intubation assistance, and suctioning procedures. The position requires the ability to interpret arterial blood gases and provide pulmonary hygiene. Weekend work and holiday shifts are required as part of the team schedule.
