In this role, you will evaluate patients, develop goal-directed treatment plans, deliver exceptional care, and provide strategic discharge planning. You will also supervise support staff and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.Compensation & Contract DetailsWeekly Gross: $2,826 / weekLocation: Fairbanks, AlaskaContract Duration: 26 WeeksSetting: Outpatient ClinicPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPatient Care: Independently evaluate patient dysfunctions, develop effective plans of care, and utilize safe, evidence-based treatments to meet measurable functional goals.Documentation: Complete all billing-related documentation prior to the end of the patient visit and all other clinical documentation by the end of each workday.Supervision: Direct, delegate, and train therapy assistants and aides in accordance with practice guidelines.Collaboration: Communicate progress and patient status effectively with physicians, families, and the healthcare team.Physical & Practical RequirementsPhysical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs independently (up to 200 lbs with assistance for patient transfers/guarding).Exertional Endurance: Ability to maintain high energy and efficiency through 8 to 12-hour shifts.Clinical Flow: Complete routine patient reassessments and progress reports every 6–8 visits.License & QualificationsDegree: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for an active Alaska State Physical Therapy License and have passed the national board exam.Clinical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of current rehabilitation procedures. Ability or willingness to learn IAOM-US treatment principles rapidly.Bonus Benefit: Participation in our Mentorship Program to attain a specialty certification (e.g., COMT).
