They work under the direction of the Staff Pharmacist to provide excellent service.Specific job duties include:Prepare, deliver, and restock medicationsPerform order entryProcure drugsBill prescriptionsAssist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacistCarry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.Other duties as assignedPosition requirements include:High School Diploma or GEDCurrent CPR certificationLicensed or Certified Pharmacy TechnicianRecent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacyExperience working with 340B preferredProficient computer skillsEffective communications skills; verbal and writtenEnglish proficiency requiredBilingual English/Spanish preferredIn order to fulfill the requirements of this position, duties 1-7 are considered essential functions of the job.This position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings.
