Ophthalmologist

Overview Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full‑time Ophthalmologist to join our growing Surgery Service Line. The Ophthalmologist will provide medical and surgical management of diseases of the eye and offer comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment and surgery. Responsibilities Provide medical and surgical management of ocular diseases. Perform cataract and glaucoma surgeries. Deliver comprehensive eye care in office and outpatient settings. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Glaucoma Center of Excellence. Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Board eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology. Existing or eligibility for a New Jersey medical license, DEA, and Clinical Data Specialist (CDS) registration. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary range of $390,000 to $420,000. Competitive compensation models including generous wRVU productivity incentive with uncapped growth potential.
