Process Engineer

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, reduce costs, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Lead and support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap rates, and improve product quality.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to production, planning, quality assurance, and maintenance teams.
• New Product Development: Collaborate with product development and quality assurance to ensure smooth implementation of new products and processes.
• Process Documentation: Maintain and update process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Team Leadership: Work closely with production supervisors to provide daily direction and support to operators.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company procedures.
• Flexibility: Be willing to work varying shifts to meet the demands of our 24/7 operation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-speed paper converting or web-based film/paper/non-woven fabric manufacturing operations.
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
