Custodian (2nd Shift)

Melaleuca is positioned to grow even more rapidly in upcoming years.Our custodial team members are vital to providing high quality cleaning services for our operations facilities and the team members working in these facilities by ensuring our buildings are in "Tour Ready" condition at all times.Essential functions of the position include:Vacuuming carpeted floors and floor mats using an industrial vacuumSweeping, moping and dusting all areas of the buildingEnsuring that all trash is removed from the building and deposited into the trash receptacleCleaning all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant and stocking paper products and soapCleaning breakroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc. Including cleaning inside refrigeratorsStocking breakroom with supplies (i.e., forks, knives, spoons, cups, coffee, etc.)Cleaning windows inside of the facilityCleaning offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair matsCleaning and dusting the lobby areaEnsuring all refuse is removed from the grounds around the building by sweeping sidewalks, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cansSuccessful candidates will be team players with previous cleaning / custodial experience preferred and experience with cleaning commercial buildings and/or industrial environments a plus.Dependability with exceptional attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to read, write, and follow established operational proceduresAttention to detailAbility to work independentlyAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shiftAbility to stand or walk for duration of shiftAbility to climb stairsWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracyMelaleuca is one of the leading Health and Wellness companies in the world.
