Work you'll do As a Profitability Costing Allocations Consultant, on the Business Finance team, you will be responsible for: Assessing client costing and profitability processes to identify business challenges and develop solutions aligned to finance transformation objectivesAnalyzing and visualizing structured and unstructured data to deliver actionable insights for planning, forecasting, and performance managementLeverage AI enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to drive delivery transformationModeling and optimizing financial performance using SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM) and advanced costing methodologiesDeveloping business requirements, prototypes, and solution designs leveraging automation and artificial intelligence-enabled technologiesManaging client engagement activities, workstream deliverables, and collaboration across finance, business, and technology stakeholders A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte’s Finance Transformation offering helps finance and global business services leaders navigate an increasingly challenging environment marked by disruptive tech like AI, market uncertainty, and regulatory change, and recognize the opportunity to better serve the enterprise, shareholders, customers, and regulators. By leveraging next-gen processes, scalable data platforms, and AI, our team delivers accurate, timely, and actionable insights Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree2+ years of experience in finance transformation, profitability reporting, costing, and allocations2+ years of experience building cost or profitability models using specialized costing or profitability solutions2+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or both2+ years of experience extracting and transforming data and producing descriptive analyticsAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or MathematicsExperience with data transformation, reporting architecture, or finance data managementExperience supporting finance operating model, shared services, or global business services transformation initiativesExperience with structured testing, user acceptance testing, or deployment support for finance technology implementationsProfessional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,100 - $ 179,500 You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.This position is aligned with the Core Talent Model.
