Expo/Food Runner

Hill Country Herb Garden is seeking a weekend Expo/Food runner to join our growing team! We are open Tuesday through Sunday serving upscale, casual food and are seeking a part time weekend warrior to join our team! Shifts for this position would be Friday evening, Saturday Brunch, Saturday Dinner, and Sunday Brunch.

Expo/Food runner earn $15/hour plus tips and are responsible coordinating

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards and plated correctly.
Communicate clearly with chefs and servers regarding food status and any special requests or allergies.
Expedite food orders during busy service periods to maintain flow and order accuracy.
Run food from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner.
Check completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and food running stations.
Assist in restocking service areas and maintaining a clean work environment.
Provide exceptional guest service by being courteous, attentive, and responsive to guest needs.
Support team members by helping with other duties as needed.
Support with events as needed.
Support in bussing as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Team player with a positive attitude and desire to learn
Texas Food Handlers Certification
Detail and quality oriented
Passionate about hospitality
Ability to walk and work in a standing position for long periods of time
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
