Here, there’s no limit to what you can achieve.Newsweek Recognizes Sedgwick as America’s Greatest Workplaces National Top CompaniesCertified as a Great Place to WorkFortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & InsuranceIT Systems Analyst Specialist SrPRIMARY PURPOSE: To lead the technical analysis efforts for implementations and large, multi-line projects; to review, analyze and document internal and client user needs; and to provide mentorship and leadership within the business analysis team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESPartners with BA/PO to analyze approved business requirements, workflows, rules, and acceptance expectations.Translates approved requirements into detailed system requirements, technical specifications, and actionable technical tasks.Documents system behavior, integrations, interfaces, data impacts, mappings, edge cases, and relevant non-functional considerations.Identifies technical impacts, dependencies, constraints, and impediments and provides recommendations to Engineering and Architecture.Maintains traceability from approved business requirements through technical specifications, design, testing, and delivered system behavior.Supports backlog readiness by ensuring technical requirements, dependencies, impacts, and system considerations are sufficiently understood before development.Provides input into user story LOE and planning by assessing technical complexity, system impacts, dependencies, and implementation risks.Validates delivered system behavior against documented technical requirements and supports Development / QA issue analysis and defect triage.Responsible for technical documentation creation, including technical design documentation (TDD).Develops and maintains technical release documentation for releases.Manages Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations, certificate renewals, and ongoing maintenance for client-facing applications.Serves as the primary technical liaison for clients during SSO onboarding, configuration, testing and deployment.Leads system configuration conversations for client implementation projects, gathering requirements to ensure successful system configuration and deployment.Facilitates execution of configurations, including production readiness reviews and cutover activities.Provides post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition to ongoing operations and successful client adoption.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).Travels as required.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & LicensingBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferredExperience:Five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience requiredExperience translating business requirements into technical or system specifications requiredExperience supporting system integrations, data flows, and application behaviorExperience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments preferredExperience in enterprise or regulated environments preferredSkills & KnowledgeAdvanced systems analysis and technical requirements documentation skillsStrong ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutionsExperience defining system interfaces, APIs, data models, and integrationsUnderstanding of system architecture, dependencies, and data flowsAbility to assess complexity, dependencies, risks, and technical trade-offsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong collaboration skills across Product, Business, Architecture, Development, QA, and OperationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWORK ENVIRONMENTWhen applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlinesPhysical: Computer keyboarding, travel as requiredAuditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talkingNOTE: Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.The statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
